ACC Education Credentials Earned Through Apprenticeship Participation

Students who participate in an apprenticeship at Austin Community College (ACC) have the opportunity to earn a variety of recognized education credentials that align with industry standards and career pathways. Apprenticeship programs are integrated with both Academic and Continuing Education tracks, offering students a comprehensive learning experience that combines classroom instruction with hands-on training in the field.

Eligible credentials may include:

  • Career-Technical Certificates
  • Occupational Skills Awards
  • Level 1, Level 2, and Advanced Certificates
  • Associate Degrees
  • Bachelor’s Degrees (in designated programs)

The Austin Community College credentials are designed to validate the skills and knowledge students acquire throughout their apprenticeship, supporting career advancement and further educational opportunities. Upon completion of the apprenticeship program and the required coursework, students are awarded the appropriate credential based on their area of study and the program’s structure.
